STAFF PHYSICIAN
Dr. Lisvan Carrero Fernandez joined Patient First as a full-time staff physician in December of 2025 and he previously served as a part-time staff physician from January of 2025 to November of 2025. He received his medical degree, as well as his master’s degree in medical emergency, from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba. Dr. Carrero Fernandez completed a cardiovascular medicine residency at The Institute of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery in Havana, Cuba, and he completed a residency in internal medicine at The University of Maryland Capital Region Health in Largo, Maryland. He also completed a family practice fellowship at The University of Medical Sciences of Havana. Dr. Carrero Fernandez is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
