Patient First is proud to partner with Moody Middle School this year by donating funds to help purchase agenda books for the students.  We recognize the challenges faced by educators and students to ensure effective communication and organization.  The agenda books are a valuable tool that empowers students to keep track of their assignments, deadlines and important events.  Utilizing these books can enhance students academic performance and helps create a successful environment.  We look forward to witnessing the positive impact of agenda books on the students educational journey!

Patient First had a fantastic time being part of St Christopher's Fall Festival.  We hosted the MASH tent that the students loved.  With the help of our amazing staff and some wonderful student volunteers, we were able to ensure that it was an enjoyable experience for all.  Everyone jumped in and rolled up their sleeves to help out as we steadily wrapped fake injuries with gauze and garnished them with fake blood.  It was fun to hear the children's creative minds tell the stories of how the imaginary injuries were sustained.

In addition to our tent, there were lots of games, several bounce houses, food trucks and activities in which the students could participate.  There was also a DJ on site that kept the atmosphere lively, coupled with an unseasonably warm day, making the event an overall success.

Patient First was thrilled to be part of this event and contribute to the community.  We look forward to future opportunities to bring the fun and excitement!

As a sponsor of the renowned Neptune Festival, Patient First embarked on an unforgettable experience that left us inspired and motivated.  The festival, held annually was cancelled in 2022 due to hazardous weather conditions, so everyone was excited to welcome it back this year.  Although the weather started off rocky, by the end of the 3 day weekend we were met with light wind and sunshine for an overall exciting experience.  The Virginia Beach oceanfront is the home of this event that continues to bring together a diverse range of businesses and individuals creating an atmosphere of celebration and community.

The festival went on for several blocks to include vendors, food trucks and the highly anticipated sand sculpture tent.  The captivating art displays by so many talented artist was an amazing sight to see.  In addition, there were live music performances, a parade, and other fun activities, so there was never a dull moment.  Engaging with festival goers was a highlight of our experience.  Everyone was excited that Patient First was in attendance.  Many of the attendees shared stories about their personal experiences at our facilities which were all very complimentary.  Some enjoyed the swag that we gave away while others jumped at the opportunity to have their blood pressures checked.  We were excited by the opportunity to interact with people from all walks of life.

The Neptune Festival was a great experience. It showcased the power of community and the importance of engagement and the limitless opportunities that arise when the two are brought together.  We had a great time and we look forward to joining you again next year!

NAS Oceana Naval Base opened their gates to the public this past weekend, as the highly anticipated Air Show returned to Hampton Roads.  The multitude of people that visited the base during this 2 day event could attest to the amount of excitement that was in the air.  Several vendors and food trucks were assembled along the flight line, accompanied by many service men and women who patrolled the area.  From the flight demonstration team to the jump team and jet trucks, there was so much to see and enjoy.  And of course the riveting performance of the Blue Angels concluded what was already an exceptional show!

This year's theme paid tribute to 50 years of women in naval aviation.  Since "The First Six" earned their wings of gold, these female pioneers went on to pave the way for so many to follow.  Over the years women have grown to assume numerous roles in aviation.  Their positions play an integral part in strengthening and protecting our nation and are worthy of recognition.

The Patient First tent was set up across from the bleacher seating.  We had lots of fun interacting with the attendees and we had a great view of the performances.  People stopped by our tent to chat and get their hands on some free promo items.  The yo-yo's and wooden airplanes appeared to be a big hit for the crowd.  We also offered free blood pressure checks when the noise subsided.

Patient First has been a long time sponsor of the Air Show.  Our deep appreciation for the men and women of service is undeniable and we thank each of you.  The 2023 Air Show was truly an amazing experience and we look forward to seeing each of you in 2024!

Patient First headed to the Diamond to join the Richmond Flying Squirrels for Back to Teaching Night.  This celebration recognized the hard work and dedication of our educators and support staff as we say goodbye to summer break and welcome students back to school.  Local teachers, administrators and staff were admitted free with a valid school ID courtesy of Patient First.  We had a great time interacting with the fans as they stopped by our marketing table to pick up some Patient First swag. Nutzy and Nutasha made a cameo appearance at our table as well.  The Flying Squirrels were kind enough to let us throw the opening pitch and invited us to do a radio interview with their Media Exec.  Our very own, Dr. Cora Owen sat down with Blaine McCormick to talk about some important back to school tips.

The night was eventful and our team had a blast.  Patient First would like to wish teachers, staff and students a safe and healthy school year!

It was a great celebration of Hanover's favorite fruit, as the community gathered together for the annual Hanover Tomato Festival 2023.  Over 12,000 pounds of juicy, ripe tomatoes were packaged and delivered to Pole Green Park for the two day, event filled weekend.  Festival goers were able to purchase tomatoes by the bag or by the box.  From signature tomato-themed dishes to tomato incorporated games, it was apparent that these were certainly a crowd favorite.  With nearly 150 vendors in attendance, a kid zone, a live band, and a DJ, there was definitely something for everyone.

Patient First was excited to join this beloved festival that has been a long time tradition for so many local families.  Many patrons stopped by our tent to get their free blood pressure checks, along with some Patient First swag.  We were happy to share some fun facts on the health benefits of tomatoes with the community.  Not only does this juicy fruit taste great, but its also good for you!

Patient First would like to thank the folks of Hanover County for their wonderful hospitality.  We enjoyed ourselves at the festival and we look forward to seeing you all in 2024!

It was a great weekend in Virginia Beach as the North American Sand Soccer Championship returned to the oceanfront. Over 10,000 participants from all over the world took to the sands to compete in a riveting series of match-ups.  From youth leagues to amateur leagues and pros, this 3 day, highly anticipated event was loaded with talent and a projected attendance of more than 150,000!

As a strong supporter of healthy living and active lifestyles, Patient First was proud to sponsor this tournament.  Our on-site presence gave us the opportunity to engage with many festival goers and also provide free blood pressure checks.  In an effort to continue to keep our communities safe and healthy, it's always great to know that care is available at Patient First.

Patient First would like to congratulate all the athletes on a job well done.  It takes grit and tenacity to compete in front of large crowds and every participant displayed that.  Some  people only dream about goals, while others make them, and that is the thrill of the game!  We look forward to seeing everyone back at the sands in 2024!

The Dominion Energy Riverrock Festival returned to downtown Richmond for a weekend of action-packed fun! Held on Brown's Island, the festival celebrates the great outdoors while displaying some of the city's most scenic landmarks and natural resources.

Over 1,000 people signed up to participate in a number of events, including bike trail races, kayaking, paddle boarding, slack lining, rock climbing, boulder smashing, and so much more! This year, Patient First enjoyed the festival from a prime location in front of the air dogs show. This was filled with riveting acts from dogs all over, who literally leapt at the opportunity to strut their stuff. The crowds cheered on the pups in amazement! The energy was great, and there was a lot of excitement surrounding this multi-day festival that brought out more than 100,000 people.

Patient First truly enjoyed participating in this festival, and we look forward to seeing you all next year!

For the very first time Patient First was excited to partner with St. Catherine's School for their annual Daisy Days spring carnival.  With over 40 years of continued success and a favorable forecast, we were definitely in for a treat.  Daisy Days was originally created to bring the community and alumni together, and that's exactly what they did.  The Saturday festivities kicked off with multiple dance performances by K-4th graders.  These performances definitely drew in the crowds.  Once that concluded, the kids were free to roam about the campus and explore the games, activity stations, vendors and food trucks.  Patient First was happy to host the M*A*S*H tent.  Several students approached the tent asking to be wrapped in bandages and gauze and garnished with lots of fake blood.

Thanks to our wonderful event staff and an awesome group of volunteers, this event was very enjoyable for everyone.   Patient First would like to thank the amazing folks at St. Catherine's for having us this year.  We look forward to seeing you all next year!

Patient First was excited to team up with the city of Newport News for the second annual Outdoor Enthusiast event.  After a very successful first time event in 2022, there was a lot of anticipation about what 2023 may bring. Held at Newport News Park, this showcased one of the area's many municipal parks.  With live entertainment, fun activities and games, the day was an exciting celebration of the great outdoors.  Canoeing and kayaking were available for free at the reservoir.  There was also zip lining, an obstacle course, rock climbing and laser tag, all scattered throughout the park.  Live entertainment included a DJ, a gator show and lumberjack show.  The only thing missing was the sun! Unfortunately, the event was forced to end early due to inclement weather.  However, we had lots of fun while it lasted!

Patient First would like to thank the city of Newport News for organizing such a great event.  We look forward to joining you again next year!
